Mission Statement

The purpose of Friends of Yeshua ministry is to come alongside “The Church” through the means of supplementary teaching.  This teaching focuses on the importance of “context” in the study of the scripture, as well as the incorporation of a Middle Eastern perspective of understanding.  The importance of this perspective is meant to give a fuller understanding of cultural values, mores, and world views, which are often ignored or unknown in the Western approach to teaching.  Our desire is not necessarily to shed new light, as much as additional light on the scriptures; in hopes of enriching the body’s understanding and love for the scriptures.

Our ministry’s philosophy is evangelical Christian while holding to a non-denominational approach of interaction within the Christian community at large.  Our biblical stance is “Sola Scriptura,” holding to the full inspiration of the scripture; in their original autographs.  Our ministry's purpose is to be a blessing to the body of Christ through the outreach of teaching.  This outreach includes all Christians, meaning Charismatic, Reform Theology, Fundamental, and Evangelical, all those who hold to the truth of One true God who exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We are not a church, but rather an organization that sees a need for the teaching we offer.  Our organization consists of believers from various churches, who also see this need and have the same desire to bring it to “the Church.”  Our hope is to cause both believers and Churches to consider our approach and incorporate it into their daily study of the Scripture.
